One profit and loss statement for every store you sell on

The problem

Where this goes wrong without the right numbers

  • Every channel reports in its own way

Gross, net, with or without tax, with or without fees. Adding the numbers up gives a total nobody can defend.

  • Fees hide in different places

Marketplace commissions, payment-processor fees and shipping labels each live in a different report, if they are reported at all.

  • Costs are not per order

Ad spend and overheads belong to a period. A statement that splits them across orders invents precision; one that ignores them overstates profit.

How it works

Three steps

  1. Connect your channels

Shopify and WooCommerce orders arrive as they happen, with a nightly sync as the safety net. Amazon and eBay sync on a schedule.

  2. Add what the channels cannot know

Your product costs, your courier, your expenses. Marketplaces state what a product sold for; only you know what it cost.

  3. Read one statement

Net profit per order, per product, per channel and per period, in the currency you report in.

What you get

What ProfitIQ does for this

  • One formula for every order

Revenue, less cost of goods, courier charge, marketplace and payment fees, discounts and refunds, calculated by the database every time an order is written, so no two screens disagree.

  • True net profit

Profit on earned orders minus ad spend and operating expenses for the period: the number your accountant will ask for.

  • Expense registry and P&L

Rent, salaries, software and ad spend logged by hand sit beside synced data in one statement.

  • Your currency, converted once

Foreign-currency orders and ad spend are converted at the rate for their own date. Anything awaiting a rate is labelled, never added in as if converted.

  • Every change is explained

When a late cost or a courier’s real charge changes an order, the old value, the new value, when and who or what changed it are recorded.

  • Your own app too

Orders from a custom storefront or point-of-sale arrive through an API key, so nothing you sell is left out.

FAQ

Common questions

Which sales channels does ProfitIQ support?

Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon and eBay sync automatically; your own app can send orders through the API; Daraz orders can be imported by CSV, and TikTok Shop is on the way. See all integrations.

How is net profit calculated?

Per order: revenue minus cost of goods, courier charge, marketplace fee, payment fee, discount and amount refunded. For a period, ad spend and operating expenses are then taken off. The full rules are on the features page.

Does sales tax count as revenue?

No. Sales tax, VAT and GST are excluded from revenue and recorded separately, because they are collected for the tax authority rather than earned.

Can I report in my own currency?

Yes. Choose the currency you report in; orders and ad spend in other currencies are converted at the rate for their own date.
